Sergiy Horovoy, General Manager
Sergiy joined Emerald Group in 2009 to provide corporate services administration and operations supervision of trade finance projects. Eventually he became the head of Corporate Services and Compliance department and is a core person now to ensure smooth operations, implementation of compliance related policies and provision of financial and consulting services. His MBA degree together with a set of skills and practical experience from working in IT Projects, trade finance banking and fiduciary services field makes him an invaluable member and manager of our team for dealing with problem-solving tasks efficiently and successfully managing complex projects clients may require help with.
Lena Polykarpou, Senior Accountant
Lena Polykarpou is a senior accountant at Emerald Group. She takes care of accounting compliance of companies of the Group as well as a vast portfolio of client companies in different industries. Her experience includes payroll procedures, assistance in the budget and financial planning process, preparation of VAT returns, management accounts, preparation of tax computations and tax returns, preparation of accounts for the audit as per IFRS standards for both local and international clients. Lena attends specialized seminars in Cyprus to be always in line with all current regulations in tax and accounting.
